• Current Alabama union members, their spouses, their dependents and their grandchildren
• Applicant must be a full or part-time postsecondary student for fall semester 2016
• Applicant must submit verification of enrollment and proof of union affiliation with the scholarship application and essay

CHS Alumni Banquet

2016 CHS SENIORS
 Due April 23th

Please read carefully!

The Corner High School Alumni Banquet will be held on Saturday, April 30th at Corner High School Cafeteria.

• “Class of 1966” 50th Year Reunion 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.

• Registration/Reception – 5:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.  

• Dinner – 6:00 P.M.

You (the graduate) are free.
Parents & dates - $20.00 each and must be mailed in advance to:

                               Birmingham, AL 35231

Once you have signed up, you/your parents will be responsible for paying for the meals (even if you do not show up). These meals will be ordered in advance and the CHS Alumni Association must be reimbursed if you do not show up. In the event you are unable to attend due to a CHS sponsored event, i.e. track, baseball, or softball – an exception will be made.

If you are interested in attending the CHS Alumni Banquet, please stop by the guidance office.

Scholarships

The Baptist Foundation of Alabama Scholarship
Deadline:  March 31st

• Applicant is to be a resident of the State of Alabama.
• Applicant is to be a member in good standing of a Southern Baptist Church cooperating with the Alabama Baptist State Convention. (Seminary applicant is to be a member of a Southern Baptist church cooperating with the Southern Baptist Convention.)
• Applicant is to be classified as a full time student according to the school’s current catalog.
• Applicant must have and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
• The Baptist Foundation of Alabama awards scholarships on an annual basis.

College Counts Scholarship

• 2.75 GPA
• LESS than a 27 ACT SCORE
• Financial Need

American Society of Civil Engineers Scholarship

• This scholarship is for students who will be attending an accredited civil engineering program at a university or college in Alabama.
