CHARLES HENRY CRIM MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Deadline January 31st

The Charles Henry Crim Memorial Scholarship Committee is pleased that you are interested in applying for a scholarship. The completed application form must be postmarked and mailed by January 31, 2016 (late applications may not be accepted). Please provide the following:   

  • A personal letter from you introducing yourself to us including your career, vocational, or academic goals.
  • Copy of high school transcript and test scores
  • Two letters of recommendation, preferably from teachers or adult friends
  • An essay describing your financial need (one page or less)
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be a member of Jefferson Credit Union or eligible to become a member.
  • Must be an incoming freshman.
  • Minimum score of 18 on the ACT and minimum 2.5 G.P.A.
**Each applicant will be notifid within a month after interviews whether or not they have been awarded a Charles Henry Crim Memorial Scholarship.

Coca-Cola Scholarships are awarded based on character, personal merit and commitment. The John F Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest

Linley Heflin Scholarship Committee

This scholarship grants four year scholarships to Alabama women who have both significant economic need and strong academics.  Minimum ACT score of 23.

Megan Meier Scholarship

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

Every high school may select one applicant. These honorees are then eligible for statewide recognition, a $1,000.00 award, a silver medallion, and an all expense paid trip to Washington D.C. where the top ten youth volunteers of America will be named in May. The 10 National Honorees receive additional awards.

Stokes Educational Scholarship Program
Deadline November 15th 
Stokes is open to high school seniors planning on majoring in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering. As a National Security Agency (NSA) employee with the Stokes Program, you will attend college full time, then work during the summer at NSA for 12 weeks in areas that are related to your course of study. You'll acquire real-world experience and receive a salary year round. 

(Please note: Eligible students must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale each semester after their freshman year.) If selected as a program participant, you are required to work in your area of study for NSA after your college graduation for at least one-and-one-half times the length of study. If you leave NSA employment earlier, you must reimburse the government for your tuition and book costs.
