Eligibility: U.S. high school seniors or college students with a 3.3 or higher GPA who intend to study computer science.
How to apply: Submit required documentation and an essay describing your work ethic and what you hope to accomplish after you graduate college.

Youth Free Expression Film Contest

Award: $5,000 scholarship to the New York Film Academy (one award), $1,000 (one award), $500 (one award), $250 (one award)
Deadline: 3/15/2017
Eligibility: U.S. students who are 19 or younger on the day of submission.
How to apply: Submit an original video of four minutes or less about the limits of free expression on social media.

National Peace Essay Contest

Award: $10,000 (one award), $5,000 (one award), $2,500 (one award), $1,000 (50 awards)
Deadline: 3/15/2017
Eligibility: U.S. high school students in grades 9-12.
How to apply: Write an imaginary 1,000- to 1,250-word memo to a foreign ambassador about how the U.S. could help their country, which is experiencing a humanitarian crisis.

Seniors Helping Seniors Scholarship

Award: $2,500 (three awards), $2,000 (one award), $1,000 (one award)
Deadline: 3/31/2017
Eligibility: U.S. high school seniors and undergrads.
How to apply: Write an essay of 500 to 1,000 words about your volunteer work with the elderly and how you'd encourage others to spend time with seniors.

Small Business Success Student Scholarship

Award: $1,500 (three awards)
Deadline: 3/31/2017
Eligibility: U.S. high school seniors and full-time college students.
How to apply: Write an essay of 500 to 1,000 words about how your or a relative's small business has shaped you.

L. Ron Hubbard's Illustrators of the Future Contest

Award: $5,000 (one award), $500 (three awards)
Deadline: 3/31/2017
Eligibility: New and amateur artists who haven't been professionally published or paid.
How to apply: Submit three unique illustrations.

Unigo Superpower Scholarship

Award: $2,500
Deadline: 3/31/2017
Eligibility: U.S. citizens or residents who are 13 or older.
How to apply: In 250 words or less, tell us which superhero or villain you'd want to change places with for a day, and why.
