YNOT Scholarship Opportunity
Deadline: March 24th
The phrase YNOT means:
“Using your distinctive potential to the best of your abilities and not letting anyone tell you that you cannot. Believe in yourself; strive to make the impossible possible.”
Requirements:
- High School Senior
- Attend High School in the state of Alabama
- 2.5 GPA or higher
- High School Transcript
- Letter of Recommendation
- Must be accepted and attending a college or University in the Fall of 2017
- 250 - 500 word essay (typed; 12 pt font; Arial or Times New Roman font; double spaced)

- Deadline: Friday, March 24, 2017
- Winners will be notified by March 31st
- Scholarship presentation will be made at the 3rd Annual YNOT Scholarship Foundation Fashion Show fundraiser on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., in Birmingham, Al at the Boutwell Auditorium Exhibition Hall.
Essay Topic:
Using the phrase “YNOT,” provide a brief, personal introduction about your future aspirations; and explain the importance of overcoming adversity.
